Well as luck would have it, I am now officially ban-hammered from RT.com, no thanks to Memo
and his cronies.
Some have told me the banning = a blessing and I've got to agree with them. What does that site even have to offer really?
Nothing, there's not even new news on the movie, just the constant ads of their over priced toys and the important announcement of TSC being on Hulu. (cause no one wants to buy the damn movie anymore lol)

To be quite honest, I think I wanted to be banned or else I would of stopped bothering that adam kid
but I'm sure a lot of people on that site who enjoyed my presence would protest if they found out
and just for yuks I dare someone to start a thread in the lounge protesting my ban just to see how many others join in.
Really I don't care if I'm unbanned or not, but it would be interesting to see how others react >_>

I have a feelling if some were to post an un-ban happypenguins thread that person would probably be the next one banned and the thread would mysteriously disappear.

lol probably, although the only moderators I ever see in the lounge section are azoric and Mav
Memo lurks in production and fandom go figure

There aren't nearly as many moderators now as there used to be. Most of the good, impartial ones have left... guys and gals like Cyclone, McHenry, totalkrig, etc. AlphaBetaAce pops up every now and again, but never really does much, and the same goes for Azoric. It's pretty much just MEMO1DOMINION and Maverick_LSC these days, and they're both on the side of the Robotech die-hards who want to crucify anyone who criticizes Harmony Gold and/or expresses a love of Macross.

We did get a response from Steve on the complaints about MEMO though... he's going to look into the situation.

There really seems to be nothing of value left on Robotech.com. As a franchise, Robotech is even less active now than it was during the late 80's and the 90's... at least then there was a steady trickle of novels, comics, and other narrative-type merchandise to keep the fans interested. Nowadays all we get are the same overpriced toys cast in different colored plastic, and the far-off possibility of a live-action movie and/or Shadow Chronicles sequel... though from the sound of things the LAM is going to end up in development hell just like the live-action Evangelion and Macross movies did.
