| Macekre, [Mace-eh-ker], noun, verb: A "free adaptation" of an anime series created by discarding or heavily rewriting the script of the original work and replacing it with a new, far more awkward script utterly devoid of all cultural references, crawling with dub-induced plot holes, and bearing at most a passing resemblance to the original. Some Macekres can consist of more than one Macekre linked together with editing into a single series, known as a "daisy-chain Macekre", "Macekre clusterfuck", or a "Robotech".
Examples of Macekres include the english dubs of Naruto and One Piece, and the legendary Macekre clusterfuck known as Robotech.
Macekism, [Mace-eh-kiz-um], noun: The tendency to derive pleasure from being subjected to unfaithful dubs, bad writing, piss-poor voice acting, and Macekres. See also "masochism".
Sadomacekism, [Say-do-mace-eh-kiz-um], noun: The tendency to derive pleasure from subjecting others to unfaithful dubs, bad writing, piss-poor voice acting, and Macekres. See also, "Sadomasochism" and "Robotech fandom".
Yuneinite, [You-nen-ite], noun: 1.) An individual afflicted with the conditions of "Robotech fandom" and "Sadomacekism", that makes the Robotech: the Shadow Chronicles movie the focus of their particular sadomacekistic urges.
2.) An individual afflicted with the conditions of "Robotech fandom" and "Sadomacekism", who believes that the corporation Harmony Gold and its employees are infallible.
3.) A mentally subnormal individual.

| Doug Bendo - see "lolcow" - A phenomena, usually observed on forums and/or imageboards. A person, most often someone who tries to look exceedingly knowledgeable in the topic discussed, is being flamed/trolled to the point where they can no longer present "sane" arguments that will "fit their level", but yet are too proud to just quit.
This produces a considerable amount of lolz and win, for which the said person can be "milked" until they finally give up. Or drop dead. Hence the name.

| Bendo-ism
An idiology, usually revolving around one's own ego.
Symptoms (Standard) To include, but are not limited to, the following:
1) Claiming to be the absolute expert in a certain genre of entertainment (Ex: See 'Sadomacekism' in above post) while having no fact, reliable data, or tangible example of examples cited.
2) Blindly lashing out at percieved enemies, such as persons in posession of large amounts of intellect, facts, figures, and general knowledge of subjects that appear to rival one's own beliefs.
3) Claiming of one's own immense intellect in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
4) Fierce adherence to idiological sub-sets and subjective opinions in the face of overwhelming data to the contrary.
5) Free and liberal usage of double-standards, so long as the double-standards in question are engineered to fruther one's own agenda.
5a) Addendum: Double-Standards can, and most likely will, be used to claim victimhood in reference to subjects refrenced in statement #2.
6) Subjective memory loss, where memories that prove one's own fallability are removed, in favor of manufactured memories where one's self-worth is not challenged.
7) Active selection of associations, based on availability of external support of one's ego.

| For fans of Robotech on the internet in the 1990s, this term was also called "Walker-ism", for Pete Walker - who was Bendo, when Bendo was still sleeping in his mommy's bed (then again, has Bendo ever stopped?). - Viper wrote:
