First topic message reminder :
In this thread I'll be sharing some of my Trance collection. I first got into it in the year 1999 and have been collecting songs since then. It's an addiction of mine, but a good one. These songs help stimulate my imagination when I'm writing or working on artwork. Also great for long car rides.... gotta have my trance hehe
Also Trance does not = Techno, they are not the same.
anyways, first song
Alex Bartlett - Amnesia (Flutlicht vs SHOKK Mix) genre: Trance category: Vocal Trance
enjoy the pretty colors hehe

Vivien G - Shine (Ronski Speed Mix) genre: Trance category: Vocal
This is an extremely rare song, so rare you can't find it anywhere and I'm one of the lucky few who does own it.

My exposure to trance mostly comes from Dance Dance Revolution (I listen to the music, since I can't play it worth crap - great stuff to drive to listening to the megamixes). There's usually 2 or 3 trance songs added each version of the game, and I recognize "Drifting Away" from DDR MAX2 (aka 7th mix), though they only used about 1:36 of it, mostly from the area with the vocals.
BTW, anyone know where I can download copies of the music of the predecessor of DDR (it was only called DDR with the release of the 2nd Mix machine), 4th mix, 5th mix, MAX (6th mix), Extreme (8th mix) and later versions? I've only got 2nd, 3rd, the megamix CD of 4th, MAX2, and Festival/Strike.

that's cool, I've heard some of the music from that game as well but most of my exposure comes from internet radios.
And I believe you might find what you're looking for right here: http://www.boxmp3.net/Search/?bg=0&q=dance+dance+revolution&x=0&y=0
that site is where I get all my music now, though you could try torrents
